The very first thing to remember is that it took 9 full months for us to put on pounds, losing it quickly is not doable. yes we all wish differently, but the very important thing to remember is to shed pounds the healthy ways!

The very important thing is that both of yours (baby and your) health is well and the pounds will come off. If you are nursing, you have to take a great care with any diets. Actually, the only thing you can try to lose pounds is avoid junk food and supplement it with fruits and vegetables. If you are nursing, and are deciding to go on any diet, it is very important to talk to dietary consultant because you need to make sure both you and your little one are getting enough nutrition.

I was advised to begin exercising 2 months after I had my second child. But I pushed too fast and my joints were hurting, so take it easy! Second, pump in as much of vitamins into your body, since your body still needs to recover. It normally takes around 9 mo. to a year for full recovery. For me, in my third month after the delivery, I started losing a lot of hair, so proper nutrition is a must. Never let your health in at risk, because of few extra pound. They will come off!

When you recover enough, I urge you avoid any extreme diets. Staying hungry will actually make you lose less pounds, because your metabolism slows down a lot when you are starving. Because of it, it burns less calories. In addition your energy level will reduce as well, and you have to have the energy to take care of your little one. What you need to find out is which food is good to eat, that also burns more calories. In the mean time you have to learn which foods to avoid. If it is a low fat, may not mean it is not fattening.
